By using this website, engaging our services, or purchasing products, the Customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
• Safety Requirement: A helmet must be worn during any and all test rides or demos. We strongly recommend additional safety gear; please consult an associate for recommendations.
• Intellectual Property: All logos, brand names, website content, and media are the exclusive property of DADS BIKE SHOP & STUFF, LLC. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

Our mechanics are committed to the highest standards of safety and performance.
• Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service on any bicycle we deem unsafe or beyond repair. If we recommend against a specific customer request, it is based on professional safety standards.
• Service Guarantee: If an issue arises following a repair, we will work to rectify the situation based on the specific circumstances.
• Motorized Vehicle Exclusion: We strictly do not service electric bicycles (e-bikes), electric scooters, or any gasoline-powered vehicles. For the safety of our shop and staff, e-bikes and aftermarket motorized kits are not permitted inside the service area.
• Abandoned Property: Items left for more than 30 days after service completion notification will incur a $5/day storage fee. After 90 days, the item will be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of to recover service costs.

• New Products: 30-day return window. Items must be in "like-new" condition with original, undamaged packaging.
• Used & Installed Products: Eligible for a 30-day store credit only, provided the item is in resalable condition.
• Non-Refundable Items: Helmets (for safety/impact integrity reasons), modified products, and items showing significant wear are final sale.

We offer mobile service for minor repairs and Pickup/Drop-off service for extensive shop work.
• Base Rate: Fees start at $20 per trip for locations on or adjacent to the Purdue University West Lafayette campus and downtown Lafayette.
• Extended Area: Service within Tippecanoe County and beyond is available; please contact us for an individualized quote based on mileage and technician time.

• Currency: All prices are in USD.
• Taxes: Per Indiana State Law, sales tax applies to all physical products. Labor rates are currently exempt from sales tax.
• Processing Fees: Listed prices include credit processing fees. A cash discount may be available on select products and services; ask in-store for details.
• Errors: We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancellations resulting from such errors.

• Inherent Risk: Cycling involves inherent risks. dad’s bike shop is not liable for injuries resulting from collisions, accidents, improper assembly/maintenance performed by the customer or third parties, or any consequential damages.
• Warranties: Manufacturer warranties apply to new goods. Dad’s Bike Shop makes no additional warranties, express or implied, including the Warranty of Fitness for a Particular Purpose.
• Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, chains, etc.) is not a defect and is not covered under our return or service guarantee policies.
