Expert Bicycle Repairs
At dad's bike shop, we specialize in providing top-notch bicycle repairs for all types of bicycles. Our experienced technicians ensure that your bike runs smoothly and is safe to ride, using high-quality parts and tools.
We are a SMALL shop, open by appointment only;

We apologize but we do NOT work on electric vehicles due to insurance restrictions.

Tune-Up Packages
Our tune-up packages ensure you are operating a safe and efficient bike. Additional service charges may be applicable. Talk to us for details!
Basic Tune-Up (labor only)
starts at $125
The Basic tune-up typically involves around one-to-two-hours of labor and includes:
• basic wash and detailed, “wheels-on” inspection
• basic shifter, cable, and brake adjustments to optimize as-is equipment
• drivetrain lubrication
• recommended repairs and replacement cost estimate
Additional services add additional time and labor
Advanced Tune-Up (labor only)
starts at $250
Recommended annually for the regular rider or after 5-years of storage, the Advanced tune-up typically involves around two-to-four-hours of labor and includes:
• all basic tune-up services
• wheel drops for additional cleaning and advanced inspection
• tube replacement if needed
• advanced drivetrain removal & cleaning
• cable and housing replacement labor, inc. up to 2 future adjustments**
• rim brake pad replacement labor, disc pads +$10/pair
Additional services add additional time and labor
Tube / Tire Service
labor generally $30 per wheel
Got a flat tire? We can fix it!
Inner-tube replacement is typically $41.77 including labor, new inner tube, and tax.
Need new tires? Labor is STILL only $30 per wheel, tire and tube costs vary widely.
Tube and tire service labor is discounted $10/tire with a basic, and included with an advanced, tune-up.
Tubeless Tire Service

New tire tubeless setup service: $65 per wheel, $60 ea. w/ tune-up
Existing Setup clean-out & reset: $70 per wheel, $65 ea. w/ tune-up
Sealant Refresh! (additional sealant added to an existing wheel): $20 per wheel **must be compatible sealant & setup
Note - tubeless tire sealant refresh labor throughout the year included for new and reset tire service plans (max 2 times / year)
*Note: dad’s bike shop reserves the right to adjust and correct pricing as required, including, but not limited to, the age, condition, complexity, manufacturing, or other factors factors related to the specific bicycle being serviced. General shop Terms and Conditions applicable.

By using this website, engaging our services, or purchasing products, the Customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
• Safety Requirement: A helmet must be worn during any and all test rides or demos. We strongly recommend additional safety gear; please consult an associate for recommendations.
• Intellectual Property: All logos, brand names, website content, and media are the exclusive property of DADS BIKE SHOP & STUFF, LLC. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
• Customer Purchased Products: dad's bike shop reserves the right to refuse to work with "customer supplied components", other than the original and current bicycle configuration. We are limited within the bounds of our wholesalers and cannot guarantee price match against Amazon or other large retailers.

Our mechanics are committed to the highest standards of safety and performance.
• Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service on any bicycle we deem unsafe or beyond repair. If we recommend against a specific customer request, it is based on professional safety standards.
• Service Guarantee: If an issue arises following a repair, we will work to rectify the situation based on the specific circumstances.
• Motorized Vehicle Exclusion: We strictly do not service electric bicycles (e-bikes), electric scooters, or any gasoline-powered vehicles. For the safety of our shop and staff, e-bikes and aftermarket motorized kits are not permitted inside the service area.
• Abandoned Property: Items left for more than 30 days after service completion notification will incur a $5/day storage fee. After 90 days, the item will be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of to recover service costs.

• New Products: 30-day return window. Items must be in "like-new" condition with original, undamaged packaging.
• Used & Installed Products: Eligible for a 30-day store credit only, provided the item is in resalable condition.
• Non-Refundable Items: Helmets (for safety/impact integrity reasons), modified products, and items showing significant wear are final sale.

We offer mobile service for minor repairs and Pickup/Drop-off service for extensive shop work.
• Base Rate: Fees start at $20 per trip for locations on or adjacent to the Purdue University West Lafayette campus and downtown Lafayette.
• Extended Area: Service within Tippecanoe County and beyond is available; please contact us for an individualized quote based on mileage and technician time.

• Currency: All prices are in USD.
• Taxes: Per Indiana State Law, sales tax applies to all physical products. Labor rates are currently exempt from sales tax.
• Processing Fees: Listed prices include credit processing fees. A cash discount may be available on select products and services; ask in-store for details.
• Errors: We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancellations resulting from such errors.

• Inherent Risk: Cycling involves inherent risks. dad’s bike shop is not liable for injuries resulting from collisions, accidents, improper assembly/maintenance performed by the customer or third parties, or any consequential damages.
• Warranties: Manufacturer warranties apply to new goods. dad’s bike shop makes no additional warranties, express or implied, including the Warranty of Fitness for a Particular Purpose.
• Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, chains, etc.) is not a defect and is not covered under our return or service guarantee policies.
